This newborn session was epic for many reasons, ranging from 70+ year old saddle and cowboy hat, to twin sister maternity photos. Hartley’s mama is a twin and both were pregnant at the same time so we had to capture that for sure!
Can you imagine how special these images were to their mama? So sweet! Sidenote: The other twin also booked her newborn session with us, so watch for that blog post in a few months! 🙂
So back to Hartley! His newborn session was done when he was 13 days old and he was perfect! His parents brought several sentimental props to use and I’m TOTALLY HERE FOR IT.
But first let me show you the dimple!
Daddy had lots of antlers to show off and I think this image turned out really neat!
These old vintage tractor toys were so perfect because Hartley’s grandpa played with them as a child!
This cowboy hat belonged to his Great Great Grandfather. It’s so cool to think about this hat being worn so many decades ago, what stories it could tell!
The biggest prop they brought is an absolutely gorgeous horse saddle that was custom ordered in the 1950’s by Hartley Tucker, and he had no idea that his great great grandson – and namesake – would be propped on top of it as a 2 week old baby boy all these years later! The saddle bags have been changed since it was built but this saddle has been all over the country and now sits on a display in baby Hartley’s new home.
Here are a few favorite images of baby Hartley and his proud parents.
I have loved every minute of working with this sweet family! They just finished building a gorgeous new home that is showcased in Faulkner Lifestyle Magazine. It will show off the many art pieces they purchased from us to decorate their new home with their newborn gallery.
