This family is near and dear to my heart. We first met when they booked a newborn session for their daughter in 2019. We became fast friends and they were a joy to work with! Fast forward to 2021 and they contacted me again – for baby #2. After an uncomplicated pregnancy, something happened that is still unknown and baby Daniel was born (full term) into the arms of Jesus on February 14, 2022. Although utterly heartbroken, his family clung to Daniel 2:20 in the Bible: “Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his.”

After a season of physical healing, they got the doctor approval for another pregnancy. God carried their hearts through this journey from the beginning to the moment they held baby Elijah in their arms, a healthy baby boy in January 2023. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room!

First from 2019 – Baby Elizabeth!

When Baby Daniel was born still, I had this print made for their family. They walked through this tragedy with such grace, poise and love. They epitomize the love of Jesus to everyone they know.

We cautiously let our excitement build during late 2022, as the baby bump grew with baby Elijah snuggled inside. I was so elated when he made his debut in January 2023 and could not wait to hug them when they arrived for their newborn session! The session was a dream for all of us. Big sister Elizabeth was perfect and in love with her brother. Just look at this sweetness!

And I was so so excited when she sent me a photo of her home with big artwork of the babies. It is truly an honor to provide families with artwork they see and enjoy every day!

I just can’t congratulate this sweet family enough. Their love carried them through horrible times and now they are surrounded by the love of their babies here on Earth and in Heaven. I’m so thankful for these friends.
